What should you weigh? This really is one of the most important steps in changing your body. I don’t believe it is enough to just follow some equation or base it on what other people your height weigh. Very often people sabotage themselves by choosing a goal weight that isn’t right for them.
I was asked this question on a interview I did recently and my answer may surprise you. (I’ve posted it below for you to listen to)
You’ll find that when you choose a goal weight based on what is important to you, the whole process of changing your body feels more comfortable and becomes more natural. It is the secret to unleashing the necessary abundance of motivation.
So, listen to the audio and take a few minutes to decide what weight would suit your life best.

Hi, I just wanted to say you just helped me realize a pattern I have established with working out. I think what I need to do is change it up more often.. I was very motivated in the beginning of the year, but I got burnt out on the gym. My next step is joining a class that I will thoroughly enjoy… Visualizing a thinner me!

Good post. I do think people get too wrapped up ion what they weigh and neglect to focus on how they feel. Weight is a number and it can fluctuate and demotivate a dieter so quickly. Instead, i think if people focused on working hard when they work out and eating well when they sit down for meals, they will be in a better, healthier position. Weight should only ever be a guide and nothing more.

Wow… you were right! Your answer surprised me! All this time I was focused on the numbers I see on the scale, and not on how I really feel. One of my friends told me that a lot of people base their dieting on their weights only, and now I see what he means by that. Good post!
