There's a great story about a young
comedian who met Jerry Seinfeld.
The young comic asked if he had any
advice on how to become a better comedian.
Seinfeld's answer was genius,
not because he told the comic to
write everyday (he already knew that),
but because he told him how to write everyday,
even when he didn't feel like it.
Seinfeld told him "get a calendar, and
put a bid Red X through every day that he wrote.
He said eventually you'll have a chain of Red X's.
Just keep at it and the chain will keep growing longer.
Watching the chain grow gets exciting and your
only job becomes to not break the chain."
This is a fantastic psychological technique
because it makes things that are boring, but
really valuable and beneficial, feel much more
exciting, and this greatly increases the chances
that you'll actually do it.
I can tell you first hand that this technique works.
I've used it multiple times to install new healthy
habits that I had been struggling to do.
You see, you already know that you should relax,
eat better, exercise more, yada, yada, yada.
But you need to make these things automatic
habits in order to really experience the benefits.
You get used to feeling good and don't want to break
the momentum, you literally get addicted to health. This is the secret to creating radiant health,
getting addicted to it, so that you need to have it.
Give yourself the ultimate gift of a radiant,
attractive, and youthful body and personality:
Imagine feeling relaxed when you go shopping.
Imagine wearing a smaller outfit on Christmas Day.
Imagine the satisfaction and momentum of taking action now.
Make it happen.
